Trackilero vs Clockify
Clockify is a time tracker that a lot of teams start with because it used to be free for any number of people. In April 2026 its free plan was limited to five users, and several features moved to paid plans.
Trackilero covers the same daily job, a timer and a weekly timesheet, and adds leave requests, approvals and balances on every plan, including the free one.

Leave on every plan
Time off in Clockify starts on its Standard plan. In Trackilero, leave is part of the product on every plan: people pick the exact days, half days included, and their approver can approve all of them, some of them or none. Days are reserved from the balance as soon as a request goes in, so the balance on screen is always what is actually left.
Work that nests
Clockify tracks time against projects and tasks. Trackilero goes three levels deep (task, subtask, sub-subtask), and every task shows its own time next to its total including subtasks. It is how agency work usually breaks down, and it means a parent task’s figure is never counted twice.
Small, on purpose
A new workspace starts on the Simple setup: timer, timesheet, a calendar of the week and leave. That is close to what a Clockify team is used to. Tasks, clients, planning and invoicing are there when you switch them on.
When Clockify is the better choice
- You need kiosk clock-in for shift workers, GPS or screenshots. Trackilero has none of these.
- You want time tracking only, with no tasks, leave or invoicing anywhere in the product.
- You rely on Clockify’s integrations with other tools.
